Grace Alone:

We are saved from our sins solely by the grace of God. Our sins hold us back from God and life with Him; however, He doesn't leave us to suffer in our sin. Jesus, God made man, came to earth and took away our sins and separation from God through His death on the cross and resurrection three days later. In His new life Jesus gives us new life free from our sins.

Faith Alone:

Our faith in Jesus is the only thing that saves us from our sins. Nothing we do saves us. God's saving grace is a free gift to us, not something that is dependent upon what we do or do not do.

God's Word Alone:

The Old and New Testaments of the Bible are God's Word. We learn & study with the truths found in God's Word knowing that is all without error and divinely inspired. God's Word is useful for us as we learn more about life & see how He calls us to live through His the truth's we learn in His Word.

We are associated with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. To be Lutheran simply means that we accept the scriptural truths that inspired the reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century and led to a renewed focus on the Gospel. Locally, we are a part of the church, Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran.

As a result we uphold an extravagant and mysterious view of God's love: that man is saved purely by God's grace through faith alone, apart from works. We believe that God is so loving and powerful that he is actively working through His Word as well as saving and sustaining sinful men, women and children through his mysterious gifts of baptism and the Lord's Supper.
